Rainbows / Regenbogen

We're stuck in yet another weird weather pattern. Temperatures won't rise above the mid-sixties. It rains every night and frequently continues to rain or drizzle or mist for much of the morning. Somewhere around noon or early afternoon the skies begin to clear and by late afternoon/early evening, right around the time that we sit down to eat dinner, the weather has turned and the skies are a spectacular blue. It seems a shame to put Nikolas to bed when it's finally nice outside, but he has busy days despite the weather. Last night, we were treated to a spectacular pre-sunset rainbow (double rainbow, actually, though it's hard to see in this picture) by a stray rain shower interrupting the lovely evening:
